Eating well without cooking

I don't know if it's just me who often forgets to think about ready meals, having dismissed them at some point as depressing, not big enough and never suitable for vegans. However, you can get some great vegan ready meals delivered now, even for households without a microwave, and find vegan pizzas and vegan frozen lasagnes in supermakets.
A cooked breakfast can be an affordable meal out - there's nothing new about that - but you can buy vegan breakfasts now which is really great. This is more expensive than cooking breakfast at home but still really good value for money and obviously easier if you live in a town or city. Also, as counterintuitive as it seems, because healthy meals tend to take longer to cook, you might try finding a healthy takeaway with vegetables and cooking your treat meals at home.
Finally, healthy snacks can be quicker to prepare/find than a healthy meal. Vegan yoghurts are really nice, as are (homemade) protein drinks or protein milks. Picking up chips (and mushy peas) maybe isn't the healthiest but won't give you a sugar crash. Bananas and peanut butter on a bagel is good snack too.
